I've worked on building sites since 1995. I use that experience to keep your renovation or new build running smoothly, so you don't have to track everything yourself.
The first conversation is free. We can meet on site, or sit down with your plans.
I started out on my own in construction in 1995. Thirty years on scaffolding and in renovations gives you a certain feel for how a job runs. You often spot early where it's going to pinch later.
Before that I spent four years as an interior advisor and draughtsman in interior construction. That's where I learned how to get from a drawing to something that's actually buildable, and how much the finishing matters to the end result.
I'm not an architect and not a contractor. What I bring is experience and overview. I work with everyone on the job, because that makes the result better.
Recognise two or more? A conversation usually pays for itself.
A quote you misjudge, or something that surfaces too late, usually costs more than my guidance does. That's exactly where my value sits: keeping it from getting that far.
That's why the first conversation is free. We look first at whether guidance makes sense for your project. Only if it does do we talk money.
The difference in plain terms: with construction supervision I walk alongside and think along, but you hold the reins. With construction management I take the lead and handle the schedule, budget and contractors on your behalf.
I walk the whole project with you and act as the point of contact for contractors and installers.
I keep an eye on schedule, budget and quality. As soon as something starts to shift, I'm on it early.
I come by the site regularly and look things over. Not to catch anyone out, but to stay ahead of problems together.
At handover we walk the property together, so you know exactly what you're signing off on.
Advice on materials, colour and detailing. After thirty years of finishing work you quickly see whether something will work.
We discuss your plans, wishes and budget, and what kind of support fits.
I look over drawings, quotes and schedules before the first spade hits the ground.
Ongoing support during construction, with regular consultation on site with you and the contractors.
A joint inspection and handover, with no surprises afterwards.
Already mid-renovation and things have stalled? You don't have to start at phase 1. I step in when the build is already running too. Just call and we'll look at what's needed.
Whether you're renovating, extending, or building a new home: I help you stay in control of a project with many parties and many details.
No sales pitch. We meet on site or go through your plans together. Afterwards you decide whether you want to go further.
